Irene de Jong

Irene de Jong is emeritus professor of Ancient Greek literature at the University of Amsterdam. She has published widely on Greek narrative texts, most notably Homer and Herodotus, and is editor of a multi-volume history of ancient Greek narrative published by Brill.
