Florian Lippert

Florian Lippert is a German Associate Professor, Vice Chair and Profile Coordinator of European Culture and Literature at the University of Groningen. He currently is a Research Fellow at the Netherlands Institute of Advanced Study (NIAS) in Amsterdam. Since 2017, he has been an Expert Evaluator for the European Commission, and since 2022 he is also an Expert Evaluator for the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNF) and a Selection Board Member for the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). He has published widely on modern and contemporary literature and film, the European “migrant crisis”, Discourse Theory and Social Systems Theory.
