Ukraine and Russia: the Imagination of a Region

The Russian war in Ukraine takes place on streets, fields and in online spheres. It is also imagined in languages and literatures. Words can console and unite as well as divide and harm. And in what ways do wars affect the way we speak and write? We explore these questions with writers, translators, and journalists who know Ukraine, Russia and the former Soviet Union from the inside out.
