Partnership

SPUI25 is the academic-cultural podium of Amsterdam, on which diverse parties explore the crossroads between science, culture and society. Alongside six faculties of the UvA and Bureau Communicatie, SPUI25 is shaped by publisher De Bezige Bij, Athenaeum Boekhandel, the Dutch foundation for literature, the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, the Alumni Association AUV, the Netherlands Institute for Advanced Study (NIAS), the Amsterdam Centre for European Studies (ACES) and Boom Uitgevers. Het Parool is our media partner.*

We have both academic and cultural partners. Our partners become part of a unique intellectual infrastructure. Ten or fifteen times a year they organize a program, with the SPUI25 team largely taking care of the substantive and practical preparations.

All of our partners are members of the Editorial and Partner Board and are mentioned in SPUI25’s physical and online communications, including the newsletter, which is received by over twenty-two thousand addresses weekly. Our programs are mentioned in the ‘agenda ladder’ of Het Parool, and in this SPUI25-website our partners get their own page, where all of their programs are available and thus get another lease of life.
